Position Overview
As a Financial Analyst at Hoxton Circle, you will play a critical role in driving financial decision-making by analyzing data, building financial models, and delivering actionable insights This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with numbers, identifying trends, and supporting strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for growth
- Prepare financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support decision-making
- Conduct variance analysis between actual results and forecasts/budgets
- Evaluate investment opportunities and assist in preparing business cases
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, HR, and client services to align financial strategies
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor performance
- Provide support during audits, compliance reviews, and internal controls assessments
- Recommend improvements in financial processes and reporting tools
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- A Master’s degree (MBA, MS Finance) is a plus
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or ACCA will be highly regarded
Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation techniques
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for explaining financial insights clearly
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- A proactive mindset with problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking
