Position Overview
As a Personal Banking Officer, you will be the face of Meezan Bank, responsible for building lasting relationships with customers while promoting the bank’s products and services. Your role will involve handling day-to-day banking needs, cross-selling financial products, and ensuring customer satisfaction in line with Islamic banking principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide frontline customer service including account opening, deposits, withdrawals, and general banking inquiries
- Promote and cross-sell Meezan Bank’s products such as accounts, financing, investment, and digital banking solutions
- Assist customers in understanding Islamic banking offerings and guide them in selecting suitable products
- Ensure smooth processing of customer requests while maintaining service quality standards
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy
- Maintain accurate customer records and comply with the bank’s policies and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to branch targets through sales initiatives and customer retention strategies
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a seamless banking experience
Education
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related field
- A Master’s degree (MBA/MA Economics) will be an added advantage
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building customer relationships
- Basic knowledge of banking products, Islamic banking concepts, and financial services
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to meet branch targets
- Problem-solving skills with a customer-first approach
