We are currently looking for a Mental Health Clinician to join our rehabilitation team at Brightwater Oats Street in East Victoria Park, WA on a Permanent Part-Time basis.
Whether you’re a Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Social Worker, Psychologist, or Registered Nurse with counselling experience—we’d love to hear from you.
This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact. You’ll provide tailored mental health support to clients recovering from brain injury—helping them navigate the emotional and psychological challenges that often follow.
You’ll focus on recovery, building resilience, and enhancing quality of life.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering therapeutic mental health support to clients
Providing training and guidance to team members without a mental health background
Contributing to report writing, data collection, and reviewing mental health-related procedures and protocols

We’re seeking a qualified mental health professional who is passionate, empathetic, and ready to make a difference. The ideal candidate will have:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Occupational Therapist
– OR – membership with AASW as a Social Worker
– OR – other relevant mental health qualification and professional registration
Postgraduate qualification in mental health (or primary mental health qualification if a Nurse)
Strong clinical knowledge and experience in treating conditions such as trauma, depression, anxiety, and substance use
(Preferred) Experience supporting adults with acquired brain injury
Confidence in conducting mental state exams (MSE) and delivering therapy
Deep understanding of grief, loss, and its psychological impacts
(Desirable) Experience in drug and alcohol counselling
Familiarity with Australia’s health care system and mental health support services
A person-centred, values-driven approach to care
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence in writing care plans and reports
Knowledge of relevant legislation (including the Mental Health Act)
Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
You’ll also need:
A current WA C-Class Driver’s Licence
A National Police Certificate (less than 12 months old)
A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
