PDSW Hafizabad is seeking a skilled and experienced Chief Technician to oversee and manage all technical operations within the department. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supervising technical staff, ensuring the maintenance and repair of equipment, and supporting the department’s mission to provide reliable and efficient social welfare services.
Manage, guide, and instruct the technical personnel within your jurisdiction.
Overhaul, diagnose, and fix any mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment pertinent to the department.
Maintain and facilitate the regular servicing and diagnostics of all equipment, instruments, machines, and systems.
Oversee ongoing technical processes and offer necessary technical assistance for active projects.
Compile and submit routine and special reports, maintenance logs, and technical documents.
Work with other sections to synchronize the technical requirements with the designed projects.
Aintain and implement departmental systems, safety requirements, and work instructions without deviation.
Analyze operational data of the technical systems and suggest corrective actions.
Associated Diploma of Engineering (DAE) is mandatory in electrical, mechanical, or affiliated area; or, a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a supervisory technical position is required.
Experience in public sector organizations will be an advantage.
Skills: Effective leadership and team management.
Advanced technical problem solving and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of systems and maintenance of government infrastructure.
Ability and understanding in reading technical drawings, schematics and manuals. Effective verbal and written communication.
