Our Oslo team is expanding, and we are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to support our operations and logistics.
Position Overview
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring that materials, equipment, and supplies are received, stored, and distributed efficiently. You’ll help maintain accurate inventory levels, support project operations, and ensure that warehouse activities run smoothly in line with health, safety, and environmental standards. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, check, and record incoming deliveries of materials and equipment
- Store items safely and in an organized manner within the warehouse
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch to project sites and offices
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with stock audits, cycle counts, and reporting discrepancies
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, safe, and compliant with company and legal standards
- Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and project teams to meet operational needs
- Report any damaged goods, safety hazards, or process inefficiencies
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Vocational training or certification in warehouse operations/logistics is an advantage
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one) preferred
Skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, inventory or warehouse software)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock
- Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain compliance standards
- Physical stamina to handle manual tasks such as lifting, moving, and standing for long periods
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain roles (preferred)
- Valid forklift license or ability to operate warehouse machinery safely
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings or weekends, if required
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental standards in warehouse operations
- Basic knowledge of Norwegian and/or English for workplace communication
- Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude
