Position Overview
As a Senior Technician at Travelsea, you will be responsible for overseeing technical operations, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring the smooth functioning of systems and equipment. You will provide guidance to junior technicians, manage maintenance schedules, and deliver hands-on technical support in line with company standards. This role is perfect for a professional with strong technical expertise who enjoys problem-solving and leading by example.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and mentor junior technicians in daily operations
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair technical systems and equipment as required
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues promptly and effectively
- Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and quality procedures
- Maintain detailed service and maintenance records for reporting purposes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support technical operations in London and Dubai
- Recommend upgrades, process improvements, and technical solutions to optimize efficiency
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely availability of equipment
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients or internal teams
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, IT, or a related technical field
- Professional certifications (such as CompTIA, Cisco, or vendor-specific training) are an advantage
Skills
- Strong technical knowledge in systems, hardware, and equipment relevant to company operations
- Proficiency in diagnostic tools, troubleshooting methods, and repair techniques
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills for guiding junior staff
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for team and client interactions
- Good organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Adaptability to work across multiple technical domains and environments
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently under pressure
Requirements
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience as a technician or senior technical role
- Proven expertise in handling complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel between London and Dubai for projects and assignments
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if required
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning
