As an Electronics Engineer in the Air Force, you will lead teams of good tech folks. They keep up & help top flight tech. This tech keeps our planes up & set for tasks. You may work at a fixed Air Base or out in the field. Your task will cover power set up, radar & way-finding, watch, task talks, tech control, & tech war systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Engineering: Lead teams on Air Bases to configure and maintain equipment for daily missions.
Sustainment Engineering: Partner with the defence industry to upgrade, modify, and sustain critical equipment.
Project Engineering: Manage engineering projects and support the development of new capabilities to meet Australia’s strategic needs.
Safety Engineering: Enhance aviation safety by investigating incidents and ensuring personnel meet training and certification standards.
In addition to your technical role, you’ll be trained as an Air Force Officer—a respected leader and mentor, equipped with world-class management and leadership skills.
