Role Overview
We’re looking for a skilled Chemical Engineer or Polymer Scientist to help us decode the composition of a specialty industrial product using lab analysis data. Your insights will guide the development of a technically viable formulation using common industrial ingredients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and test polymer formulations for new and existing products.
- Conduct research and experiments to improve material performance, durability, and cost-efficiency.
- Monitor and optimize plastic processing techniques (extrusion, molding, compounding).
- Work closely with the production team to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of test results, reports, and technical data.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in polymer science, chemical engineering, and plastic technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or Materials Engineering.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in plastics, polymers, or related industries (fresh graduates with strong academic background may also apply).
- Knowledge of polymer processing, additives, and material characterization techniques.
- Familiarity with testing equipment and lab analysis tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
