Bestepe College wants a enthusiastic and committed Mathematics Lecturer to join our team in Ankara. You will be helping middle and high school kids grow solid bases in mathematics and hone their critical thinking abilities. Someone who likes interacting with young minds and can make math entertaining and simple is what we need.

Concerning the Role

• Depending on level, teach mathematics courses including algebra, geometry, and calculus.
• Plan lesson plans and classroom materials.
• Evaluate student achievement and give consistent input.
• Support students who require additional help.
• Assist other teachers and staff in establishing a pleasant learning environment.
• Engage in professional development, meetings, and school activities.

Requirements

• Good math understanding and ability to teach it effectively
• Good communication abilities and a patient, kind attitude
• Ability to build ties with pupils and foster their math enthusiasm
• Using technology in the classroom makes one more at ease.
• Preference for five years of prior teaching experience

Qualifications and Education

• One bachelor’s degree in mathematics, mathematics education, or a related discipline
• Certificate or license in local law is necessary.
• A plus, but not mandated, is a Master’s degree.
• Fluent in Turkish; English language ability is advantageous
