Position Overview
As a Dishwasher, you’ll be an essential part of our kitchen team, ensuring that dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the heart of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans promptly and thoroughly
- Ensure all cleaned items are properly stored and ready for use by kitchen and service staff
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dishwashing area and kitchen
- Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning tasks, including sweeping and mopping floors
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow all restaurant safety protocols
- Remove trash and recycling as needed, keeping work areas tidy and hazard-free
- Support the kitchen team during peak hours by ensuring a continuous supply of clean dishware
- Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the supervisor
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
- On-the-job training will be provided
