Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Telecom Sales Account Manager to manage and grow client relationships within the telecommunications sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of telecom solutions and a proven ability to drive revenue through strategic account management and new business development.
Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across telecom operators, enterprise clients, and government sectors.
Manage and grow a portfolio of assigned accounts by understanding client needs and offering tailored telecom solutions.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
Promote and sell a broad range of telecom solutions including voice, data, wireless, network infrastructure, and managed services.
Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, quotations, and product presentations.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales in line with company targets and profitability goals.
Collaborate with internal technical teams to design and customize client-specific solutions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, forecasts, and client interactions using CRM tools.
Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by serving as a key contact for post-sales support and issue resolution.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in telecom sales or account management.
In-depth knowledge of telecom technologies such as Fiber, MPLS, IP, VoIP, Cloud, 5G, and IoT.
Proven success in B2B sales and client relationship management.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and influence multiple stakeholders.
Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
Experience working with telecom operators, ICT companies, or system integrators.
Understanding of enterprise and government procurement processes.
An established network of contacts within the telecom or ICT industry.
