Online Certified English Tutor Part Time

Job Details:

* Role: Male English Tutor (TEFL, TESOL, IELTS certified)
* Where: Remote (Canada & North America)
* When: Midnight to 6 AM
* Days: Monday to Thursday (Friday OFF)

What You’ll Do:

We’re looking for enthusiastic and skilled, certified online English teachers to give awesome English lessons to students in Canada and North America. As a tutor, you’ll do one-on-one sessions with students of all levels, from newbies to pros, helping them get better at reading, writing, speaking, and listening. You’ll build their confidence and help them get good at English, so they can hit their goals in life, school, or work.

What You Need:

* A bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or something similar (a master’s is even better).
* A TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or another English teaching cert.
* Experience teaching English to people who don’t speak it natively, mainly students from Canada and North America (experience with kids, teens, or adults is a bonus).
* Good grasp of English grammar, vocab, and how to pronounce stuff.
* Great communication skills and able to explain stuff clearly and in an interesting way.
* Know your way around online teaching tools (like Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.).
* Be able to work on your own, stay organized, and be good at managing your time.
* Good fiber internet with a backup plan, a laptop with a webcam, and a quiet place to teach where you won’t be bothered.

Bonus Points:

* You’ve helped students prep for English tests (like TOEFL, IELTS, or Cambridge exams).
* You get North American culture and what students around here need.
