Position Overview
The Online Certified English Tutor will be responsible for conducting interactive online classes guiding students in grammar vocabulary speaking and writing and preparing them for academic or professional success The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills and a learner centered approach
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct online English lessons for students of various age groups
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials according to student needs
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Use digital tools and platforms to deliver engaging sessions
- Motivate students to achieve their language learning goals
- Maintain a professional and supportive learning environment
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in English Literature Linguistics Education or related field
- TEFL TESOL CELTA or equivalent English teaching certification required
Skills
- Strong command of English language in speaking, reading and writing
- Excellent online teaching and presentation skills
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools such as Zoom Google Meet or MS Teams
- Ability to create interactive and student friendly lesson plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience adaptability and cultural awareness for diverse learners
