We are now looking for a motivated and customer-focused Store Counter Sales and Parts Delivery Associate to join our growing team.
Position Overview
This role combines counter sales with parts delivery, making you the vital link between our store and our customers. You’ll be assisting customers with parts selection, processing orders, and ensuring timely delivery of automotive components. If you’re someone who enjoys working with people, has a good knowledge of car parts, and likes being on the move, this role could be a perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers at the store counter, helping them find the right automotive parts
- Provide product information, availability, and pricing to customers in person and over the phone
- Process orders accurately and efficiently using the store’s system
- Handle cash, card, and digital transactions securely
- Prepare parts for delivery, ensuring correct items and proper packaging
- Deliver parts to customers in Helsinki and nearby areas in a timely and safe manner
- Maintain delivery logs and collect customer signatures where required
- Support inventory management, including stocking shelves and organizing warehouse areas
- Ensure company vehicle is kept clean, fueled, and in good condition
- Uphold customer service standards and represent the company positively
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Vocational training in automotive technology, mechanics, or sales will be an advantage
Skills
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories (preferred)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills for processing orders and inventory management
- Ability to handle cash and transactions accurately
- Time management and organizational skills
- Team player with a proactive, problem-solving attitude
- Basic mechanical knowledge and interest in vehicles is a plus
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in automotive sales, retail, or delivery roles preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry automotive parts (up to 20–25 kg)
- Familiarity with Helsinki’s routes and neighborhoods is an advantage
- Fluency in Finnish and basic English for customer communication
- Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work flexible shifts including weekends if required
